Yoni Porutham in Marriage
Horoscope matching is something that is done among Hindus before finalizing a marriage. This tradition is practiced even today. It is done mainly to check the compatibility of a boy and girl. Importance of Yoni Porutham
Yoni Porutham is very important because it helps in determining the sexual compatibility between the couple after marriage. Without sexual compatibility, the marriage will not be happy and successful.
Yoni porutham should be analyzed for both the girl and the boy because it determines the physical compatibility of the married couple. There is no fixed parameter that claims that a certain zodiac star is physically compatible with the other's star (nakshatra).
Yoni porutham only points to the incompatibility of the stars in question and not to their compatibility in daily life where the husband and the wife are not always at the same emotional and physical wavelength with one another. 1. All the 27 Nakshatras(27 நட்சத்திரங்கள்) or stars have an animal assigned to them. The animal can be male or female.
2. The animal associated with the couple’s birth stars must be friendly or at least neutral; they should not oppose each other. *Animals that are not listed as friendly or unfriendly will be “neutral”.
