Filming in various countries in the world has become commonplace. What's unusual is making films in space. That is what the two giant countries in the world are currently aiming for in space exploration affairs, the United States and Russia.

Science Times reported that making films in space has become a special obsession for the United States and Russia. It all started when NASA announced last year that it would make a film with Tom Cruise in space.
Not using computer effects, as is usually done in space films, the entire filming is actually done in space. NASA has appointed director Doug Liman for the film. It is known that Doug Liman is no stranger to Tom Cruise, having worked together in the films Edge of Tomorrow and American Made.
It's just that NASA's plan has not been fulfilled because until now the manufacturing process has not been carried out. This is what the Russian space agency, Roscosmos, is trying to exploit to do the same.

Reported by NBC News, Roscosmos has announced that it will make the first film in space. The film will be directed by young director Klim Shepenko and actor Yulia Peresild. Actress Yulia Peresild is a top Russian actress. The film he played and received worldwide attention was a film called Battle for Sevastopol.
Unfortunately, like the United States, Russia and Roscosmos also did not provide an exact time the shooting process began. The race between Russia and the United States in space has indeed been going on for a long time.
The race starts when the two superpowers plan to send people into space. For this mission Russia won the prize because it managed to send their astronaut Yuri Gagarin into space.

The United States responded to the challenge by becoming the first to successfully send astronauts to the Moon. Now competition arises again where the two have the ambition to become the first country to succeed in making films in space.

# Filming Ms. Marvel Ends in Thailand
Filming Ms. Marvel, the Disney-Marvel series ended in Thailand after filming in Georgia, USA. Marvel released a teaser trailer in December last year, prior to shifting filming locations.

Reporting from Variety, Saturday (15/5) in it, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige described Ms. Marvel as one of the new characters in the Marvel Comic Universe.

This six-episode series features newcomer Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, a teenager who grows up in New Jersey and has special powers. The character arc makes him find out who he is and learn about relationships.
Bisha K. Ali is set as lead writer and showrunner, with four directors including Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Adil El Arbi, Billal Fallah and Meera Menon.
The finished series will premiere on the Disney Plus streaming service, but Disney has yet to confirm a release date for the series.

Filming in Thailand, under the direction of two-time Oscar winner Obaid-Chinoy, lasted four and five episodes in total. With Living Films as the production services company, and Chris Lowenstein as line producer for Thailand, the set was made in a modern Studio Park facility southeast of Bangkok.

Together, the first and second units involved about 450 people. Filming continued through April and early May, although a third wave of new coronaviruses resurfaced in Thailand which led to city and provincial governors imposing severe new restrictions and a near-curfew at night.
The measures, which take effect from April 19, 2021, have closed schools, restaurants, gyms, sports facilities and cinemas. They also stipulated that film and TV production should be stopped.
It can be understood that Ms. Marvel was able to get waived and continue shooting because it adhered to strict health protocols. These measures include a closed set and mandatory use of a mask and face shield on set, Covid-19 tests twice a week, separated transportation, and a controlled air system.

The workflow in Thailand is also divided into three separate bubbles so that if an infection is found in one bubble, the whole show does not have to close, and production can continue in the other two bubbles.
