Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is considering a move to Liverpool after he spent more than a decade earlier in his career with Arsenal, claims Calciomercato.
The Reds are likely to lose Georginio Wijnaldum and could desire a veteran to replace him in central areas.
West Ham are also linked to Ramsey, who has scored five times and assisted five times since arriving in Serie A ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
Calhanoglu reveals Galatasaray dream
The Turkish midfielder is in the final months of his contract at AC Milan, and there has been speculation about his future.
Hakan Calhanoglu has said his desire is to join Galatasaray at some stage in his career.
It has been suggested in Italy that the 27-year-old will sign a new deal with Milan, but a move to Turkey is on the cards in the future.
Calhanoglu arrived in Turkey on Monday to link up with the national team for World Cup qualifiers, and he was asked about links to Gala.
“I hope to play for Galatasaray in the future,” he said . “Why not? I got a lion tattoo because I cheer for Galatasaray.”
With no new deal having been agreed, the midfielder’s future continues to be a topic of debate.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United have been credited with an interest. The player can negotiate with other clubs, and Calciomercato has claimed the Red Devils have approached Calhanoglu.
United would have no trouble matching the player’s salary demands, while Milan's fellow Serie A side Napoli have been linked with a summer offer.
Talks over a new deal are set to continue with Milan, who remain confident that they will be able to find an accord with a player who boosted his negotiating position with the winning goal against Fiorentina on Sunday.

Out-of-favour defender Eric Bailly has grown concerned that Manchester United want to renew his contract only to help them attract a higher transfer fee from another club, writes Sky Sports.
The publication quoted a friend of Bailly as saying, "[Bailly] feels the club has been very disrespectful towards him and frankly he's had enough. He feels that no matter what he does, he will never be first choice."
Bailly has made eight league starts this year and hasn't surpassed 20 Premier League appearances since 2016-17.

Erling Haaland is paying little attention to the transfer talk suggesting that he is a summer target for the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona, with the Norwegian striker eager to point out that he has a long-term contract in place at Borussia Dortmund.

Haaland is, however, eager to avoid such comparisons for now as he is fully aware of how much work he has to do in order to get close to two all-time greats that boast 11 Ballon d'Or wins between them.
He added on the Messi and Ronaldo talk: "The media are the ones who write about it, I don't focus on those things."
