Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw was awarded the 2021 Lifetime Leadership Award at the annual Business Awards breakfast on Thursday, May 27 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
The awards breakfast was the first in-person event hosted by the Chamber of Commerce since February 2020, because of the pandemic.
Along with Bradshaw's Lifetime Leadership Award, six other awards were handed out to local businesses, non-profits and professionals.
Bradshaw, who has 49 years in law enforcement, rose through the ranks of the West Palm Beach Police Department before being named Chief of Police in 1996. He ran for county sheriff, won, and, since starting as sheriff in 2005, has been reelected multiple times. Bill Bone, Managing Partner at Larmoyeux & Bone, presented the award.
