The number of esports matches in the 2021 SEA Games increases

Esports has officially returned to the sport (sports) competed in  the Vietnam SEA Games . This time, the number of contested numbers has increased from six in 2019 to 10 in 2021.Esports sports will compete against ten numbers, namely League of Legends Wild Rift: Quick War - Mobile, League of Legends Wild Rift: Speed ​​War - Mobile, Arena of Valor, PUBG Mobile Team, individual PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, League of Legends - PC, FIFA Online 4, Crossfire, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

The esports competition at the 2021 SEA Games will take place from 21 November - 2 December at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The decision was made by Vietnam's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in a letter dated March 23, 2021.

According to the announcement, the 31st SEA Games will feature 40 sports with participants from eleven countries in Southeast Asia.

This marks the second time Esports has participated in a multi-sport competition overseen by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Asian Olympic Council (OCA).

The IOC has studied esports in recent years and may include esports as a sport in the Olympics. They have also formed an Esports committee.

4  BLAST Premier Spring 2021
Apart from League of Legends, CS: GO is also another esports game that can be classified as a major esports game . This month, one of the CS: GO tournaments that made the list was BLAST Premier Spring 2021. The match that made this tournament into the list was the meeting between FaZe Clan and NAVI which recorded more than 543 thousand peak viewers on February 13, 2021 yesterday. .

As before, Russian and Portuguese are the two local language shows with the most peak viewers recorded in addition to English. The Russian language broadcast recorded more than 155 peak viewers, while the Portuguese language recorded more than 138 peak viewers. This record is quite reasonable considering that the NAVI team does have a strong fanbase in Russia and its surroundings. On the other hand, FaZe Clan has Coldzera from Brazil as the main roster with the potential for a large audience to speak Portuguese.

5  LCK Spring 2021
In previous months, the Korean LoL League (LCK) has often appeared mighty in terms of monthly peak viewers records. Unfortunately, LCK has to settle for only being ranked 5th this February. The match with the most peak viewers in February 2021 is the match between T1 and Nongshim RedForce with a record of more than 525 thousand peak viewers. Historically, T1's appearances have been the most awaited from the Korean LoL league. This can be seen from the presence of T1 in five 5 LCK matches with the highest peak viewers.

The match between T1 and Damwon Gaming in the first week of LCK still cannot be overtaken.
