What is the school’s philosophy? 

Schools have a philosophy they follow when it comes to teaching. This philosophy often shapes their curriculum and even the size of their class. For instance, schools, where individual learning is important, will often have small to mid-size class sizes because they want to make sure that the teachers can focus on every student. That’s the kind of preschool in Malaysia that you should pick for your child if you want teachers that give time and attention to helping every kid in their class.

What is the school’s stand on discipline? 

Some schools still subscribe to the idea that suspending a child with disruptive behavior in class is the right way to go. But that won’t be the case forever. When students go back to school, it’s ideal to know that your child will go to a school with facilities that support their learning activities. 

Do they follow safety protocols? 

It’s important to find a school that follows safety protocols. With Covid-19 still a problem, schools that are taking precautions to keep their students and teachers, as well as staff safe, are a good option. Are they disinfecting the schools? What steps are they taking to help the students and teachers? Pay attention to that as well.
