In short, if you like to have a solid programming background, you should always start with basic programming concepts. Do not interfere with complex programming concepts by using languages like Python and Javascript when you are starting out.

In C programming, every concept is laid out perfect without ever wondering what’s happening behind the code I could be able to learn to program. That’s the time I started to actually learn to program.

For this reason, if you like to become a skilled programmer in any language you want whether it is Python, Java or Go, you should definitely have a good C Programming knowledge.

Everybody were saying Phyton is easy and should be the first programming language. But, when trying to build Pyhton applications, there were so many things that are hidden away from me. These hidden concepts made it so hard to understand how it works under the hood.

The problem is that you get used to the programming without knowing what the productivity killer things are. The fact that somethings are hidden away makes it so hard to comprehend the underlying concepts behind the code.

If you show this list to a programmer who only knows Python, he won’t know what the Memory Allocation is, what is a pointer, how strings are stored in computers or even he may not know what are the bitwise operators.

ticsearch as our data store due to its flexible data model and querying capabilities. As we onboarded more streaming services, the trace data volume started increasing exponentially. The increased operational burden of scaling ElasticSearch clusters due to high data write rate became painful for us. The data read queries took an increasingly longer time to finish because ElasticSearch clusters were using heavy compute resources for creating indexes on ingested traces. The high data ingestion rate eventually degraded both read and write operations. We solved this by migrating to Cassandra as our data store for handling high data ingestion rates. Using simple lookup indices in Cassandra gives us the ability to maintain acceptable read latencies while doing heavy writes.

For me, if you ask what is the difference between C and Python I would say you have to write 100 lines in C programming when you could just write a line of code in Python.

Following C and Java, I have learnt Phyton, C , Shell, and Assembly programming language without any effort. Things were so clear in my mind so that no programming language was hard from now on.

Having learnt my first programming language, learning Java was easy. I could be able to relate every concept with C programming and even try to write the same Object Oriented concepts in C programming.

The simpleness of the C programming language gives you the ability to focus on what is important when you are a beginner and never waste time to learn further programming concepts when you just starting out.

Then, I have moved on to Pascal programming in 2016. It was my fifth programming language. For me, pascal was a lot better than any other language because it exposes everything and does not hide somethings away from me.

But, if you don’t know what is behind a line of code, how would you suppose to create highly complex applications? By stacking things that you don’t understand just like doing a puzzle?No, it doesn’t work. Even if some people think it works, in the 21 century, everybody can write code.

Languages like Java, Python, C and almost all the prevalent programming languages hide some of the basic concepts away from the programmer to increase the productivity of programming.

Even though Pascal is a good language, I had a hard time finding high-quality resources with Pascal. Then I have moved on to my 6th programming language which is C programming.
