This all reads as if Slack is over with this deal. Certainly it’s true that for many such deals, the acquired company and product is never the same. And while the acquiring company always says the right things at the offset (would they ever not?), the proof will be in the product. But every once in a while, the best such deals not only don’t kill a company, but act as a major accelerant. This Salesforce deal feels like that for Slack for all the reasons listed above. It equips Slack to better fight the battle on the field right now. In the sales field. And frees up immense resources to get back to the core focus: the product.

Zero-shot and one-shot learning methods even exist for natural language processing. The same methods can be used for better training of the model to improve the overall performance and avoid repeated training procedures which can be a really big hindrance in some real-life applications and scenarios. Hence, one-shot learning is a great alternative for deployment and working in other embedded systems with lower training capacities.

The next word prediction for a particular user’s texting or typing can be awesome. It would save a lot of time by understanding the user’s patterns of texting. This could be also used by our virtual assistant to complete certain sentences. Overall, the predictive search system and next-word prediction is a very fun concept to implement. Dark Reader is an eye-care extension that allows you to easily adjust how a website is displayed in order to match your comfort levels and reduce eye strain. The extension comes preconfigured with a dark and a light theme but also allows for more fine-grained control of the display settings — e.g., brightness and contrast.

ColorZilla is a nifty extension for graphic designers and web developers that functions as an eyedropper, color picker, gradient generator, and a bunch of other tools all at the same time.

The only problem is that as the number of open tabs mounts, so too does the amount of memory the browser hogs, leading to a potentially slower experience. Enter The Great Suspender. This extension will periodically — you guessed it — suspend inactive tabs so they no longer consume memory.
