We actually did so for around 9 months, and to his credit it worked pretty well. But then the coronavirus pandemic hit, and like with a lot of companies at that time, we dropped a lot of non-essential stuff.,My CEO is part of a book club, and his office is filled with books. Most of them are about entrepreneurship, how to crush it as a manager, becoming the next Silicon Valley Unicorn, the next Elon Musk… I would understand if you find books around that subject redundant. I do too.,Once a week (usually on Wednesdays), my CEO doesn’t come to the office, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t rise early. Wednesdays are meeting-free, meaning he prioritises execution, concrete action. He also sometimes has family events in the afternoon on those days. Family work, remember?,I definitely learned a lot from him, and I hope you too were able to grab a bit of that knowledge by reading my article. He told me I had to be more like a giraffe one time, because he had read it in a book, and I honestly don’t remember what the whole metaphor was about.
