However, one night, the game night, which was usually fun, suddenly turned chaotic. To be precise, after the arrival of Max's brother named Brooks (Kyle Chandler). The rich and arrogant. Who wants to come into play. Yang then invites them all to his house for more challenging games.

Apparently, Brooks has worked with a special agency to design a special game night. He plans a kidnapping action against himself, then the other players have to find him. If you manage to save it, the winner will get a special prize from Brooks: In the form of a classic sports car. The expensive one.

However, unfortunately, the special game night did not go smoothly. The alias doesn't fit the scenario. When the game is just starting out, it turns out, Brooks was actually kidnapped by a Bulgarian mafia gang. Max et al must find a way to save him. And at the same time risking their lives!

By the way, if you look at the synopsis, this Game Night film, in fact, presents a simple story. Which then turns into an exciting adventure. Which is flavored with laughter. Which does not have a serious impression in it. So it's quite entertaining and fun to follow.

Critics also rated Game Night as a great film to enjoy. The duo of directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are considered successful in combining elements of action, thriller, mystery, and dark comedy properly. The audience will feel tension and humor at the same time.

The screenplay written by Mark Perez is also quite slick. The dialogues are peppered with witty humor. Not a joke-style dim jokes gentlemen. The plot is unpredictable. With layers of surprises. The audience will continue to be curious until the film ends.

The depiction of the characters, which is pretty much it, is also interesting. The choice of cast is very precise. Each player is able to become a scene stealer with their own uniqueness. And, to be sure, all of them are hilarious and tummy-churning.

However, special credit deserves special credit to Rachel McAdams. Which, usually, plays in the drama film. This time, he was able to appear surprising. With his jokes and gestures that bring laughter.

Therefore, it's no wonder that Game Night is also a box office success. Able to earn USD 117 million. With a capital of only USD 37 million. Until, finally, it became one of the highest income comedy films in 2018.

Based on the novel version, The Darkest Minds does consist of four series. Which means: For the wide screen version, possibly, will also be continued into three or four films.

Despite having big eyes and a small face, typical of manga, Alita's figure is still easy to see. The character is quite sympathetic and interesting. So, even though it is displayed with digital motion capture technology, the figure is still organic.

The visual effects that are displayed are quite stunning. Especially, the sightings of the robots and half-robotic humans that dominate the film for 122 minutes. Apart from that, the atmosphere of the dark city of Iron City also looked amazing.

However, even so, many also criticized Alita's scenario for being obscene. The story seems to have only been prepared as a bridge for future films. Which, the plan was, would indeed become a trilogy.

That is what is considered to make many characters in this film feel redundant. For example, the character Vector. Played by Mahershala Ali. Oscar winner's acting ability was in vain. Because, even without his presence, the story of this film will continue to roll. His character didn't really matter.
