Guidelines That Must Be Followed During Face-to-Face School Learning 2021

It has been two semesters that most of the teaching and learning activities in schools are implemented online. However, recently the permission for face-to-face learning has also been issued. Based on the decision, this learning will begin in January next year, so face-to-face school learning guidelines for 2021 have been prepared.

The Minister of Education, Mr. Nadiem Makarim, revealed that face-to-face reopening of schools would be entirely up to local governments. This decision and learning process will take effect in the even semester of the 2020/2021 school year.

However, these decisions and policies will come into effect in a number of areas that fall into the yellow zone and green zone only, so that in this case the government still prioritizes the health of students and all school staff. Given that face-to-face learning will be implemented, here are a number of health protocol guidelines that must be carried out by related parties such as;

1. Class conditions

Although the school is considered the best school or favorite school. However, there are several things related to class conditions that are required to follow health protocols such as;

Set the distance between students at least 1.5 meters
The maximum number of students
The PAUD level consists of 5 of the standard 18 percent of students
The SD and SMP levels consist of 8 out of 36 students standard
Then, the SLB (Special School) level consists of 5 out of a standard of 8 students
 
2. Schedule of learning

We all certainly do not expect schools to become the next cluster in the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, the learning schedule is arranged in such a way. Schools need to implement a system of shifting to avoid crowds. This rule will be determined by each educational unit.

3. Mandatory behavior

In addition to the two points above, each student is also required to do several things called mandatory behavior. In addition to dress neatly as usual, during face-to-face learning at school students are required to do the following things;

Wearing a three-layer mask, or disposable medical mask.
Wash your hands regularly with soap and running water or hand sanitizer.
Have the awareness not to be close to other students and teachers.
Coughing and sneezing etiquette.
 
4. The medical condition of the residents of the education unit

Apart from paying attention to the health and safety of students, other staff are also obliged to comply with several conditions. The following are some things that also need to be applied by the members of the education unit involved;

Healthy or in controlled condition if you have comorbids.
Do not have symptoms of COVID-19, including in one of the family members who share the same house.
 
5. Condition of the canteen

Apart from the classroom, the canteen can be one of the crowded places. In this case, some rules must be adhered to. Eating in the canteen is still allowed, provided that children only use personal cutlery and keep their distance.

 
6. Sports and extracurricular activities

Apart from teaching and learning activities, extracurricular activities are still allowed. Some rules that must be obeyed are using personal equipment and maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters.
