But you do it, and most of you reading this are going to keep making fat jokes and using fat as an insult because you really don’t get it.,Bodyweight, shape, or size is not a behavior. If you or I ate the same exact food in the same quantities and got the same amount of exercise, we still wouldn’t have the same bodies.,At this point, Anderson Cooper’s recent viral video has been seen more than 10 million times. In it, he talks about Trump’s absurd claims of election cheating by likening the president to… an obese turtle:,Please don’t pretend there’s a place for fat people — well, fat women — in politics at all. On the Left, there is virtually no place for fatness unless it’s attached to a story of grueling weight loss.,Well, that’s not true. PHP is as fast or as slow as the code you write. PHP is a scripting language, so it’s pointless to compare it to compiled languages, yet for some reason I’ve even seen people compare PHP with Rust, or Go. Those are just not going to be valuable comparisons. Comparing it to Python or Ruby is probably better, but the “speed” of a language is dependent on a number of different factors. You on the Left care so much about human rights, but you don’t give a damn about those among you with eating disorders or larger bodies. You use us as punchlines. He is also $100 billion wealthier than Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook) and Warren Buffett (the legendary investor).,Ever since Anderson made those comments, people have been absolutely giddy at the image. Social media is filled with people cheering on Gloria Vanderbilt’s journalist son, some even joking that he’s now a poet laureate.,People really seem to love it, and that’s putting is mildly. Even Vogue published a story calling Cooper’s words “the Perfect Response to Trump’s Shocking White House Speech.”,Likewise, body fat is not contagious. You aren’t going to catch our fat like COVID, yet so many of you insist on treating us like we’ve got the plague. So, please don’t add insult to injury by pretending that when you insult Trump for being fat or obese you haven’t also insulted us.,“That is the president of the United States. That is the most powerful person in the world, and we see him, like an obese turtle on his back, flailing in the hot sun, realizing his time is over. But he just hasn’t accepted it, and he wants to take everybody down with him, including this country.”,And on the Right, there are some exceptions made for fat men. Some pastors and politicians get to be fat without too much complaint. But fat women? The Donald Trumps of this world make it clear that we are “pigs” or “dogs.”
