How to troubleshoot Canon Printer Error 6c10

Canon is a Japanese company globally known for manufacturing cameras, camcorders, and other imaging devices. Canon also manufactures various types of printer devices. Canon error 6C10 is a common printer error reported by many users. 6C10 error appears when your ink cartridge is dealing with some issues. You can try fixing the error manually.

Reset the ink cartridge

1. Open the cartridge door of the printer

2. Remove the cartridge from your printer carefully

3. Wait for some time

Now reinstall the cartridge on your printer. Make sure the cartridge is connected to the contact pins. Now close the cartridge door and give a print command from your PC. If the Canon Printer Printing Blank Pages error is still appearing on the screen then seek other solutions.

Reset your Canon printer

A factory reset is one of the good techniques for fixing the error. But when you do the factory reset, you have to set your whole printer again. You have to connect your printer again to the PC and set the printer. You can follow the given steps for Canon printer factory reset:

1. Press the Setup button

2. Now press the arrow button until you get the device settings option

3. Hit the OK button

4. Press the down arrow and navigate to reset setting option

If purchasing a new cartridge seems costly then you can purchase the ink. 

Refilling the ink is also a good alternative. But always purchase good quality ink for your Canon printer. Remove the cartridge from your printer and open the ink drum. Now refill the ink on the drums. Close the lid of ink drums tightly. If the lid is not properly closed then the ink may spill inside the printer and damage other parts. Check your printer driver
