The Beatles: When vocalist Paul McCartney paid off his blanket debt

A letter from Beatles vocalist Sir Paul McCartney regarding paying off the missing blanket "debt" has been auctioned.

The singer carried the blanket after living in a garden house with his bandmate George Harrison in north Wales.
Decades later the owner of the place, Irene Brierley, wrote to Sir Paul reminding him that he was still short on a blanket.
