The Return of the Comeback

It has been more than a year since I joined this wonderful site.

But I have to admit that I am not the most active of members here.

I only pass by here when there are new comments on my posts or if there really is nothing left to do on the net.

Shame on me.

My interest in FW only returned when Ruthie told me that he had a plan to have a compilation book of works by writers here.

It’s been a plan for quite some time in case I was unaware.

So she told me to join the Filipino Writers Jam group on Facebook if I'm interested in having my works included in the book.

At first, I was excited, but later, I felt like I’m not worthy to be part of it because when I saw the pics and minutes of the meeting for the book, I saw that they were all active members of FW, and there, plus they seem to know each other very well.

Looks like whoa!

Ok, how do I make epal to this group?

Fortunately, I was accepted into the FWJ group and it was ok for me to submit my work.

But still lacking.

I have to do something about it.

Need to make up for it, big time.

So, what else should be done?

Don't be active in FW again!

I feel like a newbie again, though my works are among the most read/stumbled upon (and possibly, most plagiarized, grrr !!!) on the site (not to brag, but I really feel good about it, yey!).

I started reading more works of other people and most of them are really, really good and I enjoy reading them.

Plus, here it is.

Since I am at MIA here at FW, I often miss posts about some assholes trolling in threads and some pips bitching around and taking away some other pips.

So I said to myself, damn!

I have really missed a lot!

So, again, I need to recover.

So in the past two weeks or so, I've been getting a little more frequent here on FW.

If I used to have a few months between my posts and comments in the threads, now I really do, like last week, I posted 2 short stories in 48 hours (to get over them, hehe, to be able to post me poems).

I will post some more soon.

I have to show other people here that I am also good at writing.

I don't feel like a one-hit-wonder trying hard (like the one I saw in a post of a firefly that was helpless, I said trying hard huhuhu...).

Oh, yeah?!

We’ll see who's trying hard now...! :D

Ehem... ok, so I feel like I'm back to the start again.

Sounds like a newbie but not.

I hope to read some new works, meet new friends, join the fun activities, vanquish evil trolls, and gain new knowledge.

I’m also willing to provide assistance to those who need help with their work.

I’m not the mr.-know-all type of guy but I think that I also have knowledge somehow when it comes to writing since I’ve been writing stuff for more than 10 years already.
