7 Disastrous Mistakes That Could Ruin a Wedding

In the nascent years of our lives, you thought brides were queens and longed to be like them someday. A wedding day is something one fantasizes about all one’s life. The decor, the wedding dress, how will you be the center of attention and how you will be the most beautiful bride ever. You dream of exotic locales and so wish for that Alexander Mcqueen dress with the tail. In a few words, you want it to be perfect and an affair to remember. Here is a list of some mistakes you should definitely avoid to make it the best day of your life.

  • A Royal Wedding Costs Millions.

Spending more than a specified budget is a big mistake. Never fall for emotional shopping. Stick to the budget that was decided for the wedding. Remember borrowed money could blow up into a huge debt and you have to eventually repay it. Keep a track of your expenses and do not buy impulsively.

  • No Research

Researching is imperative when you have to plan a wedding. Researching about the venue, food, the dress, photographers and so many other things is essential and vital when planning and executive a wedding. Only after researching about award winning wedding photography will you be able to make a decision about your wedding photographer.

  • No Plans

A well-executed wedding has one big reason behind it and that is a well-etched plan. Without a well thought out plan, a near-perfect wedding is next to impossible. There are so many things and events that need to be synchronized during a wedding, that without a plan everything will crumble and fall apart.

  • Pleasing Everyone

They say pleasing everyone is like pleasing no one. It is just not possible to please everyone in life. On your wedding day just stick to the plan that has been chalked out carefully, just concentrate on what is necessary and not what people will like. They just suck time and energy out of you.

  • Obsessing Over Non-Issues

Do not obsess over issues that could be ignored. Learn to look at the bigger picture. By concentrating on nonissues you could be ignoring the issues that need to be addressed. Issues that could prove to be disastrous to the event.

  • Let the Experts Do Their Work

Dispatch work to people who are experts at what they do. Do not just give work to people you know like letting a friend be a DJ at your wedding instead of an experienced, professional one or hiring your cousin who takes good pictures instead of a professional photographer. Such mistakes are a recipe for a disaster.

  • The Guests.

Make a balanced guest list. They ought to be informed about the type and program of your wedding. Uninformed guests can easily get irritated and suck the happiness out of your happy day.

Remember it is just another day that will be the most memorable day of your life. So enjoy and try to absorb this time as much as you want. Try to stress as little as possible.
