No one is spared in the incident of Companiganj

He said this while joining the conference of Akkelpur Upazila Awami League of Joypurhat district online on Thursday morning.

Noting that there is no question of giving exemption if anyone is involved in irregularities, corruption and anti-discipline activities, the Awami League general secretary said that instructions have been given to the Anti-Corruption Commission and law enforcement agencies in this regard.

Calling on the committee to evaluate the sacrificers, Obaidul Quader said the sacrificers are the lifeblood of the Awami League and they should be included in the committee. He urged the district and upazila leaders not to pull the spring cuckoos into the team to make their pockets heavier.

Obaidul Quader said that the party president and prime minister Sheikh Hasina is in a very difficult position regarding the party discipline and if the party does not follow the discipline, no matter how big the leader is, the party will not let him go.

Noting that no program can be given by holding the people hostage, the general secretary of Awami League said, "People are our strength, the main goal is to serve them."

Obaidul Quader remarked that the BNP is ready to blame others for its own failures so they have failed in the movement and have put the people and the police as opponents. He also remarked that the BNP is now like a lost path after falling from the politics of continued failure and power.

Addressing the party leaders and workers, Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said there was no alternative to unity, forgetting differences and making the party well-organized and strong.

Akkelpur Upazila Awami President. Awami League Organizing Secretary Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan, SM Kamal Hossain, Health Secretary Dr Rokeya Sultana and other local MPs and district and upazila leaders also addressed the conference under the chairmanship of Moksed Ali Mandal.
