3. Don't Delay the Mammogram

Thus, it is recommended for over 40 women to start mammograms when they are 40 years old and continue it once or twice a year.

Studies show that screening mammography reduces the number of deaths from breast cancer among women ages 40 to 74, especially women over 50.

4. Don't Miss Strength Training

Cardio is something you have to do and continue to do when you reach the age of 40 .

Women begin to lose muscle mass at the age of 30, and this rate gets higher when we reach the age of 40 . Muscle mass plays a large role in metabolic rate.

Straining can help slow bone and muscle loss as you age and keep your body strong for daily activities such as climbing stairs and gardening.

Strength training is beneficial for osteoporosis, which women are more likely to experience than men.

5. Try not to stay up late

7-8 hours of sleep is recommended when you reach the age of 40 years can have a huge impact on your health .

Sometimes, hormonal side effects, such as decreased melatonin levels, can affect the natural sleep cycle.

The condition is one of the top bad habits that women should avoid at the age of 40 .

Women over 40 are advised to keep their sugar intake below 25 grams per day.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that you are too old to control births.

Women over 40 need to be aware of the risks to themselves and their child's development in an accidental pregnancy.
