Anime Evangelion series Release 2021 full review

On Thursday (14/1), Studio Khara announced that the release of the anime film from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series , namely Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon A Time , has been postponed again. This is because the spread of COVID-19 in Japan has increased again.

In response to the postponement of this release, Studio Khara has also released an official statement recognizing this matter. "First of all, we would like to convey our deepest sympathies to all who have been affected by the recent spread of the (virus) COVID-19.

We also want to convey our gratitude and respect to all health workers and related parties who are still working to respond to the spread of this virus.

We have taken the situation of the spread of COVID-19 and the Japanese government's declaration of emergency very seriously, and have given careful consideration to the situation.

As a result, we have decided not to release the Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 film on January 23, 2021 (Saturday) and postpone it. We are considering new release dates very carefully so that everyone can enjoy the film with peace of mind.

The first and second films of this tetralogy (Evangelion 1.0 and 2.0) come with a story that is more or less the same as the version of the TV anime series that aired in 1995 with a few changes and a few new characters. The third film comes with a new story that is completely different from the previous version. The story is set 14 years after the end of the second film.

Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0 originally titled Shin Evangelion Gekijou-ban: || is planned to be released in 2015 . However, work on the anime film had "stagnated" because Hideaki Anno had lost his "enthusiasm" after working on the third film of the tetralogy.
