 Ashley Judd thanks those who helped her after she got into an accident while in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. On yesterday, Tuesday (16/2), the 52-year-old actress shared a photo of a terrible experience where she broke her leg while in the forest and ended up in ICU.

He then uploaded a series of photos to show his gratitude to the locals who took care of him in pain and helped him get him to safety. In her experience, Judd admits that her leg was broken and so badly injured that she called it nearly "crushed".

"Friends. Without my brothers and sisters in Congo, my internal bleeding would most likely kill me, and I would lose a leg," he wrote in a photo caption and rescue video. "I awoke crying in gratitude, deeply touched by everyone who contributed something life-giving and life-saving during my grueling 55 hour journey."

According to Judd, one of the locals who helped him, a man named Dieumerci, stretched out his leg and placed it under his injured left leg to keep him from moving.

"(The leg) was broken in four places and had nerve damage," he recalls of his leg. "Dieumerci ('thank god') remained seated, without fidgeting or flinching, for 5 hours on the rainforest floor. She was with me in great pain. She is my witness."

Judd said another man named Papa Jean finally found the pair after a five hour search. At that time, according to the actress, she was in great pain while Papa Jean was examining her broken leg.
"He told me what to do. I bit into the stick. I held on to Maud," Judd wrote. And Papa Jean, definitely starting to manipulate and adjust my broken bones back into a position like I could be moved, while I screamed and stretched. How he did it methodically when I was like an animal was beyond my reach. He saved me and he had to do it. this is twice! "

Judd said the six men later carried her in an improvised hammock. They then walked for 3 hours over rough terrain to the nearest means of transportation. From there, two men named Didier and Maradona rode a motorcycle with Judd for six hours.
