Baekhyun EXO Wamil May 6, Right on Birthday

Baekhyun will be the next EXO member to carry out mandatory military duties The plan, he will start serving the obligations of all men in South Korea next month.
SM Entertainment as management revealed the news. Baekhyun will be enlisting in the military on May 6, 2021, right on his birthday.

"Baekhyun will be enlisting in the military on May 6. The place and location will not be disclosed. No special event will be held," said SM Entertainment.

Baekhyun also personally revealed his intention through the LYSN application. In his statement, he admitted that he had received an invitation to undergo military service.

Today the sky is cloudy, so I want to announce some good news. But there is one thing I have to say to all of you!

I received an invitation to enlist in the military on May 6, 2021. This is just a temporary farewell. So instead of waiting incessantly, missing me, and feeling sad when we say goodbye, I'm going to find a way to keep us feeling like we're spending time together even in different ways.

I will work hard and prepare many things! I know how hard it must be waiting. So instead of asking you to wait, I want to say that I love you! I love you guys!

After officially undergoing military service on May 6, 2021, Baekhyun will later undergo basic training for 3 weeks. After that, he will continue his duties as a civil servant.

Baekhyun is the sixth member of EXO to undergo military service. The first member to undergo military service first was DO, followed by Xiumin, Suho, and Chen, before then Chanyeol.

Baekhyun EXO Comeback Solo Today, Reveals the Meaning of Bambi

Baekhyun will release the album Bambi which is his third solo mini album. Holding a press conference ahead of the album's release, the EXO member also gave leaks about the songs on the album.
At the press conference, Xiumin was lined up as the presenter. He accompanied Baekhyun who explained one by one the songs in his 6 mini album.

Apart from Bambi being the main song, there are Amusement Parks that have been released before, as well as All I Got, Privacy, Love Scene, and Cry for Love. He describes Bambi as an R&B song that is 'so Baekhyun'.

"Bambi is an R&B song that elevates an adult romance story by conveying it like a fairy tale. Because this song is for me, so when listening to it, you will feel, 'This is Baekhyun's song!'" He said.

"When I heard it for the first time, the hook that said 'Bambi ~ bambi ~' sounded very catchy. At that time I knew that this song was really true for me," Baekhyun continued.

He then revealed the meaning of Bambi which was the album title and also the main song. Baekhyun explained that there are 2 meanings of the word Bambi itself.

"The first is the rain at night, and the second is the character Bambi. Both can be found in the lyrics, and you will be able to feel the difference between the 2 Bambi when you hear the song," he explained.

"During the recording, I focused on speech and tone, making sure that even if those 2 things are the same word, they have different vibes," he added.

"I gave a lot of input about clothing. I want to make it not too perfect, but bring a natural and stylish atmosphere. In the choreography too, it will look groovy but still strong," concluded Baekhyun.

Famous Again, Here's Laboum's Career Journey

Recently the Laboum girl group stole the public's attention with their old song titled Journey To Atlantis. The song is included in the Fresh Adventure album which was released in 2016.

1. Debuted in 2014
Laboum debuted with six members, including Yujeong, Soyeon, ZN, Haein, Solbin, and Yulhee. They debuted on August 28, 2014 with the release of an album titled Petit Macaron with the main song Pit-a-Pat.

The title song was written by Seo Ji Eum, who is known for his popular songs, such as f (x) 's Electric Shock and TaeTiSeo's Twinkle and composed by Jung Jae Yeob.

2. Comeback in 2015
In the following year, Laboum released an album with a more mature concept with a slumber party themed concept on the album Sugar Sugar on August 14th. The comeback continued on December 6 with the release of an album titled Aalow Aalow.

3. Organized Fundraising for MV Production
Laboum was once one of the Korean artists to campaign on the crownfunding platform Makestar. They asked fans to raise funds for their music video production project. The campaign managed to collect 27 thousand US dollars.

Laboum also released a music video titled Journey to Atlantis which was on the Fresh Adventure album in April 2016.

4. Three Members Participate in Survival Events
ZN, Yujeong, and Haein participated in KBS's survival program The Unit in 2017. At the end of the competition, ZN managed to occupy position 8 and was selected as a member of the temporary girl group UNI.T.

5. Yulhee left Laboum
