Focus on Positive, Now

In this post I will blog about the right mental attitude towards the "stay positive" expression.

"Stay Positive" is usually what I was told when I screwed up a project or an exam in college. When your girlfriend dumps you, friends come and tap your shoulder and tell you " Stay Positive".; When you get fired there have to be 1-2 nice friends to tell you the same thing..

Why?

What does stay positive means?; Is hard to "be positive" when you feel anger and frustration.

The real meaning of the "stay positive" is " focus on positive" !

It means to focus on what you can do and not on what you cannot do anymore.

If you lost your job you lost the chance to go to your job everyday but you got the opportunity to serious think about developing your investing skills or to give more attention to that business idea you had when you was in your 20's.

If you're going through the end of a relationship maybe is time to focus on getting to know you better. Solitude is a good thing. It's a good point for a fresh start. Try to understand yourself better, to identify what you really want from "the one" and which are the points that you can improve.

I am not aware to talk about losing someone you love in an accident or because of some disease but I think that we should be grateful because we had him or her for a certain period next to us.

I've seen the movie City of Angels and it had a deep plot. Is about an angel who falls in love and he has to choose between his immortality and the woman he loves. So he does what it takes to give up his right to eternal life and he comes to her.

After less than 24 hours spent together, it includes a night of passion,
she dies in a tragic event but he will have to live as a regular human being for the rest of his life.

In the end of the movie he is alone in an empty house , with her pictures all around and one of his angel mates comes and asks him...

"Was it worth it?"

You got to see the movie, to find out the end, but also consider seeing the movie with the one you love.

This movie illustrates what truly means... Stay Positive ! See the good part out of everything that happens to you.
