Starring Alexander Skarsgard (as geologist Nathan Lind) and Rebecca Hall (as scientist Ilene Andrews), the title is set after the events of Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and Skull Island (2017).

Lind and her fellow scientist launch an operation to retrieve Kong, who has teamed up with a mysterious young woman who apparently has the power to communicate and command monsters. However, his ability apparently catches up with Godzilla as well, who returns to face his bitter rival.

Godzilla vs. Kong is the fourth film in the so-called MonsterVerse, a series of mythical monster films, which in addition to the 2019 and 2017 titles includes Godzilla (2014).

Although so far it has not managed to have much coherence, Warner Bros. bet is to go in that direction, which explains the similar aesthetic that can be seen in Godzilla: King of the Monsters and the Godzilla vs. Godzilla trailer . Kong.

Indeed, some American media were able to discover the feature film before its release on March 31, 2021 in the United States. “Saw Godzilla vs. Kong twice. The scenes with humans are exactly what you would expect and not worth talking about. Everything that has appeal to Godzilla and Kong is why this movie has to be seen on an IMAX screen. They both have scenes that showcase their power and the third act is amazing.

I first watched the Godzilla vs Kong fight in my living room, and while I have a decent setup, this movie begs to be seen on the biggest screen possible. If you can find a movie theater where you feel safe, definitely go see this movie on the big screen.

As a reminder, Godzilla vs. Kong is still supposed to be released in theaters in France. Due to the global pandemic, Warner Bros. has been forced to postpone the blockbuster once again for May 19, 2021 with us.
