#Robert Schmidt-Mnuchin Joins Speech Circuit at $250,000 for Live Address

(Bloomberg) - Steven Munchin likes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Bono, Henry Kissinger and Barack Obama, who offer to speak for thousands of dollars.

Munchin, who is Donald Trump's Treasury Secretary, has hired a Harry Walker agency to manage such engagements. Munchin said he takes about $ 2,000,000 to speak for himself. An ad obtained by Bloomberg News charged $ 1,000,000 for a virtual address, while Munchin said the number could be closer to ०० 10,000,000.

Harry Walker's website urges customers to inquire about fees. Mnuchin's profile on the site identifies him as a philanthropist - after his other career. 

Biden said he had "good talks" with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He spoke in support of the US Alliance, but said that maintaining some independence was not the answer.

The two leaders spoke for an hour and discussed policy towards Iran and Israel's growing diplomatic ties with other Arab countries in the region, Mr Netanyahu's office said.

Mr Biden told reporters at the Oval Office that the couple had had a "good conversation" but declined to say anything.

In recent weeks, Israeli diplomats have raised concerns about the White House's delay in negotiating with Netanyahu.

Mr Biden has spoken to about a dozen other world leaders since taking office on January 20.

According to a former agency official, Timothy Geithner, Obama's first Treasury chief, was paid between 1,000 and २०० 200,000 for a speech after leaving government.

Payment is often highly adjusted if the speech is abroad or at another distant destination.

Munchin confirmed that he had joined Harry Walker but did not expect to go on a speaking tour.
