Some Disney Movies That Finally Show Up In 2021

Disney made a presentation during Investor Day on December 10, 2020. During the presentation, Disney changed several film schedules that would be released and also the company's plans for the next few years.

As quoted from the Hollywood Reporter page, the game film, Free Guy, starring Ryan Reynolds has set a new release schedule on May 21, 2020, while Death on the Nile will debut on September 17, 2021.

The prequel film, The King's Man by director Matthew Vaughin, will premiere on March 12, 2021. Meanwhile, The Animated Raya and the Last Dragon will debut on Disney + and theaters simultaneously on March 5, 2021.

While the Buzz Lightyear film from the Toy Story franchise starring Chris Evans will debut on June 17, 2022.Pixar's Turning Red is set to air on March 11, 2022 and the latest animated film, Encanto, will be released on November 24, 2021.

The Marvel film, Thor: Love and Thunder, was previously scheduled to air on February 11, 2022, back to May 6, 2022.Not only that, the Black Panther 2 film will also be delayed on July 8, 2022, while Captain Marvel 2 will shift to November 11, 2022.

This change in broadcast schedule was made after one week Warner Bros. announced plans to broadcast the entire 2021 film list to HBO Max. This clearly drew criticism from film directors like Christopher Nolan.

Disney also announced that some of its films will appear on Disney +. The company has also hinted that it intends to continue sending its biggest franchises, including those from Star Wars and Marvel, to theaters.

This fantasy action adventure will be directed by Paul Briggs and Dean Wellins. However, in August 2020, he was replaced by Don Hall and Carlos Lopez who were one of the producers of the films Big Hero 6 and Winnie the Pooh.

This film is set between the events in the film "Captain America: Civil War" in 2016 and "Avengers: Infinity War" in 2018 when Natasha Romanoff reunite with some old friends to defeat a mysterious criminal.

6.The Beatles: Get Back, August 7, 2021

After obtaining the distribution rights for the documentary "Beatles" Peter Jackson, Disney Studios immediately got to work. According to the press release, the film will be behind the scenes of the making of the band's "Let It Be" album and their last live concert at London's Savile Row.

The film was made using more than 55 hours of invisible footage filmed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg in 1969 and 140 hours of "mostly inaudible" audio recording from the "Let It Be" album sessions.

7.Eternals, 5 November 2021

This film is based on a group of immortals created by a cosmic god. Disney and Marvel hope this is the success of the next "Guardians of the Galaxy".

"Game of Thrones" stars Richard Madden and Kit Harrington will be reunited on screen. They will star alongside a major cast that includes Kumail Nanjiani (Stuber), Lauren Ridloff (The Walking Dead), Brian Henry Tyree (Atlanta), Salma Hayek, Don Lee, and Angelina Jolie.
