From the list of nominees, the film Mank (2020), which was released by streaming platform Netflix, managed to get the most nominations. In total, the film that tells the true story behind the scriptwriting for Citizen Kane (1941) received 10 nominations. Among the 10 nominations received by Mank, four came from the prestigious category. Namely: Best Film, Best Director (David Fincher), Best Actor (Gary Oldman), and Best Supporting Actress (Amanda Seyfried). For Amanda Seyfried, who played Marion Davies in the film Mank, it was her first nomination at the Oscars. The supersexy actress who skyrocketed through the film Mamma Mia! (2008) admitted that he was very proud.

After a long career in Hollywood, being nominated for the Oscars was, arguably, a turning point for Amanda Seyfried. The film, starring Lily Collins, is considered successful in presenting extraordinary cinematic elements. Which is supported by a brilliant costume design and authentic scoring.

Meanwhile, for Netflix, Mank is the main champion to win the Oscar this year. The biographical film indeed contributed almost half of the total nominations they won. However, even so, Netflix is ​​still not allowed to be complacent. In the last Golden Globe Awards, Mank also dominated by buying up the most nominations (6 nominations). Which has become a hot issue in Hollywood in recent years. In this latest list of Oscars nominations, women and non-whites, finally, get the recognition they deserve.
