Debe de haber algo en esas historias que cuando las leo pienso: "Ah, sí, esto está en mi campo de especialización" (sonríe). Y no sé exactamente cómo ha llegado a suceder esto.

No es que leyera "The Unholy" y pensara "Oh, otro personaje oscuro que puedo interpretar", pero sí, Gerry Fenn está hecho mierda, está bastante jodido como individuo cuando le conocemos y obviamente el tema de la película se vuelve oscuro rápidamente.

Pero no sé si lo busqué como tal, no era mi intención. Si alguien me hubiera propuesto una gran historia de amor o una comedia romántica, lo habría hecho. Se trata en realidad de encontrar el mejor material y la mejor gente para trabajar que pueda, y también que encaje en mis pausas de "The Walking Dead". Se tienen que dar todas esas cosas.

P: Su personaje es un periodista escéptico y para nada creyente. ¿Por qué se obsesiona tanto con los supuestos milagros de Alice?

R: Creo que simplemente se ve arrastrado a esta historia.
