10 Travel Tips by Doncaster Taxi

By: Doncaster Taxi

Passenger travel is a process that arises from missed buses, stupid behavior, cultural ignorance, and countless small mistakes. Then one day you move around the airport smoothly and integrate into the new culture like water fish.

I want to help speed up the process and help you avoid my mistakes (and I do them a lot). That's why I put together a huge list of my best travel tips covering everything under the sun so you can reach your fullest Travel Ninja Potential.

These travel tips will help you save money, sleep better, get off the beaten path, meet the locals, and become a better traveler.

No more noise, here are 10 of the world's best tips:

1. Always get a towel

This is the key to successful riding the galaxy and common sense. You never know when you will need it, whether at the beach, on a picnic, or just to dry off. Even though many dorms offer towels, you never know that carrying a small towel will not add to the burden of your bag.

2. Buy a backpack / small suitcase

When buying a small backpack (I like something around 35/40 liters) you should pack it lightly and avoid carrying too much stuff. People naturally tend to want to fill in space. So if you pack light but have a lot of extra space in your bag, you'll end up saying "OK, I thought I could take more" and then you'll regret it.

3. Get the lamp

It's good to wear the same shirt for several days in a row. Take half the clothes you think you need ... you won't need as many as you think. Make a list of the most important ones, cut them in half, then pack! Because, like I said, you buy a small backpack, you don't have much room for extras!

4. But get extra socks

You lose a lot of time washing, wearing, and walking, so the packaging is even more useful. I just took a little more than I needed. Nothing beats a clean pair of socks!

5. Bring additional bank cards and credit cards with you

Disaster happened. It's always good to have a backup in case you get robbed or lose a card. You don't want to live in a new place without access to your money. After that my card was duplicated and I froze it. I couldn't use it until the end of my trip. I am very happy to have extras and unlike my friends who do not and are forced to borrow money from me all the time!

6. Make sure you are using a free bank card

Don't giv&e the bank your hard-earned money. Keep this to yourself and spend your trip. Get a credit and debit card that doesn't charge foreign transaction fees or ATMs. Over the long haul, the few dollars you earn each time actually adds up!

7. Travel alone at least once

You will learn a lot about yourself and learn how to be independent. It's a cliché, but it's true. The trip taught me how to deal with myself, how to talk to people and how to deal with unusual situations with ease. Calm me down with yourself, help me learn what I am capable of and allow myself to be super selfish and do what I want! It may take some getting used to if you've never done it, but at least once. Do you feel uncomfortable and let yourself be surprised. You will learn valuable life skills as you push!

8. Don't be afraid to use cards.

Looks like a tourist isn't as bad as getting lost and in the wrong neighborhood. Don't be afraid to use a map or ask for directions and look like a tourist. After all, you are one! I always use the card when I travel. This helps you achieve your goals!

9. But don't be afraid to get lost on purpose.

Wandering aimlessly in a new city is a great way to find out, get off the beaten path, and get away from tourists. You may be surprised at the hidden gems you find. I love to hike and get to my position without using google maps!

10. Always visit your local tourism office.

They know everything that goes on in the city. They can take you to free activities, special events during your stay, and everything in between. They even offer discounts for attractions and transportation. Their job is to help you better feel your purpose. It's amazing how many travelers miss this when they go anywhere, but as an accomplished traveler, you know you are making the most of this resource! This is perhaps one of the least used travel tips in the world. Use boards for tourism! Save money!
