Emirates Airline Plans to Resume Flights to Sydney

Emirates expect to resume passenger flights to Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane in April after these services were dramatically halted until further notice last week. But seizing a seat on these flights will not prove cheap air flights but actually very expensive. Emirates Airlines announced on Thursday that flights to 29 cities and transits through Dubai will be resumed As of June 8, Pakistani Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad travelers can book connecting flights from Dubai to other destinations via this airline such as Lahore to Melbourne Emirates flights. These destinations include:

  • London Heathrow
  • Frankfurt
  • Paris
  • Milan
  • Madrid
  • Chicago
  • Toronto
  • Sydney
  • Melbourne

Travelers will only be admitted on these flights if they meet the eligibility and entry criteria of their destination countries. This includes the approval of the Federal Office forICA (Identity and Citizenship) for UAE (United Arab Emirates) residents wishing to return to Dubai.

The announcement by the Authorities

The authorities said that they are pleased to resume regular passenger services to these destinations, providing customers with more opportunities to travel from the UAE to these cities, as well as between the UK (United Kingdom) and Australia. They also said that they are working closely with the authorities to plan the resumption of operations at additional sites.

But unfortunately, these flights might not be yet available at cheap airfare. They added that they have implemented additional measures at the airport in consultation with the relevant authorities on social distancing and sanitation. The security and prosperity of our workers, clients, and networks remain our main concern.

Repatriation Flights

Notwithstanding booked flights, Emirates will likewise keep on working intimately with government offices and offices to encourage bringing home trips for guests and occupants wishing to get back. This week, the airline plans to fly from Dubai to:

  • Tokyo Narita on 15th May
  • Conakry on 16th May
  • Dakar on 16th May

Safety and Health

As always the topmost priority of the Emirates is the well-being of the travelers. In preparation for the resumption of air service, the airline has already tightened various precautions during the customer's journey. At Dubai International Airport, customers and employees will check the temperature with thermal scanners. Security boundaries have been introduced at the registration counters to give extra wellbeing during communications. Keep in mind that along with these safety and health measure you might not get cheap air fare in the beginning.

For every travel, it’s mandatory to have masks and gloves. In addition, Emirates cabin crew, cabin agents, and ground staff who interact directly with travelers will wear PPE (personal protective equipment), including a disposable gown and safety visor.

Negligence in Social Distancing Won’t Be Tolerated

Social distancing protocols will also be implemented. At this airport, this includes physical indicators placed on the ground and in airport lounges to keep travelers at a safe distance. For health and safety reasons and to minimize interactions on board, Emirates will offer a modified in-flight service that focuses on reducing the risk of contact and infection.

Keep in mind that you won't be provided with the printed entertainment this time such as magazines. Hand baggage must be checked in and only essential items such as a laptop, purse, briefcase, or baby item are allowed on board. Emirates has initiated a stringent safety program to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of aircraft cabins. Modern airline cabinets are equipped with advanced HEPA air filters that remove 99.97 percent of viruses and eliminate dust, allergens, and germs from the cabin air, ensuring a healthier and safer environment onboard.

Subsequent to voyaging and arriving in Dubai, every airplane will experience improved cleaning and sterilization cycles to guarantee security and disinfection.
