Seobok-Wonderland, Gong Yoo is ready to greet fans in the near future

Gong Yoo said fans could watch a series of his latest projects in the near future. This was conveyed because he was 'absent' from the big screen and even the glass screen for the last three years.
Kim Ji-young, Born 1982 was the last film he starred in in 2019. Meanwhile, Gong Yoo last played a drama in Goblin (Guardian: The Lonely and Great God) in 2016.
"The project I am working on now will soon be finished. I have also completed my part in the Wonderland film," said Gong Yoo.
In the near future, Gong Yoo's projects both on the small screen and the big screen can be watched by fans. One of them is Seobok, the film he starred in with Park Bo-gum.

Seobok is actually a film scheduled to air in 2020. However, the broadcast schedule had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the whole world last year.

Until the Korean blockbuster film, which tells the life journey of the first man-made man named Seo Bok, will finally be released on April 15, including in several cinema chains in Indonesia.

"We have passed a lot of time from the date that was supposed to be the release of Seobok. I don't blame it on anyone because this is a situation that everyone is in," said Gong Yoo as reported by Esquire.

Besides Seobok, Gong Yoo's other project is Wonderland. He will make a special appearance in the film also starring Jung Yu-mi, after the two appeared together in Kim Ji-young, Born 1982 and Train to Busan.

In Wonderland, the actor with the birth name Gong Ji-chul will play a man in his forties who misses his dead wife. For the sake of his son, he officially asked the Wonderland controller to simulate his wife.

Apart from films, he will also return to play dramas. This time, the actor who was born on July 10, 1979 will play in the original Netflix series, The Silent Sea, which was produced by actor Jung Woo-sung.

The Silent Sea tells about the condition of a planet in the future that begins to have difficulty getting clean water and food. Gong Yoo will play the role of the space agency soldier Han Yoon-jae. He will compete acting with Bae Doona and MBLAQ's Lee Joon.

"All the projects that I have completed will start to be released one by one. I am not very confident but in the near future I will greet all of you through good projects," said Gong Yoo.

Waiting for Police Investigation, Yunho TVXQ Delays Appearing in the Kingdom
TVXQ's Yunho chose not to temporarily continue filming as Kingdom host in order to wait for an investigation into the alleged violation of guardianship regulations. This makes Changmin the only host of Kingdom: Legendary War.
"Like the message sent by SM Entertainment, TVXQ's Yunho voluntarily chose not to participate in shooting Kingdom: Legendary War until the results of the police investigation were released," wrote Mnet.
"So, we decided that Changmin will film as the sole host of the show," said Mnet as reported by DongA via Naver.

Mnet said that the picture of Yunho that was finished taking some time ago would be edited and would only focus on his role as an emcee.

Previously, TVXQ's Yunho had apologized for violating health protocols in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. He apologized for failing those who believed and supported him.

"Above all, I sincerely apologize to the medical workers who worked hard and faced difficult situations because of Covid-19 and to everyone who had a difficult and tiring time," Yunho wrote in the photo caption column.

Prior to that, SM Entertainment confirmed that Yunho was asked for information by the police because he was still at a restaurant in the Gangnam area with three of his friends until around 00:00 at the end of February.

According to Seoul distancing rules, the restaurant's operating hours are only until 10pm. Customers are required to leave the premises before this hour.

Through this statement, he admitted that he felt ashamed and angry with himself for not being able to comply with the time limit when he met his friends. Yunho understood that many people were angry with him.

"I am very sorry and sorry for not paying attention and for my mistakes. I will reflect on this violation of guardianship rules and will better comply with Covid-19 distancing regulations, and every time I will think carefully before acting," he wrote.
